Jazz levels 1, 2, & 3 are energy packed classes set to a variety of the latest hot hit tunes and dance styles to match. This class introduces basic jazz moves and technique, general knowledge of basic jazz steps, body isolations and awareness, spatial awareness, style and poise, dance dynamics, and free body movement. Jazz levels 1, 2, & 3 aim to encourage musical interpretation, theatrical personation through mime and use of face, creative movement through imagination, flexibility through warm-up and limber, listening and following skills, memory skills, social and emotional development, concepts of direction, position and travelling movements, physical fitness, basic co-ordination skills, stage and performance skills, grooming and personal presentation skills, self confidence and self esteem.

Jazz level 4, 5 & 6 are for students who are eager to get those bodies "Moving to the Music!" Students will continue to groove to some great music while they continue to improve and tackle some great Jazz Dance moves. Students will increase flexibility with our safe dance limber and try out many fantastic combinations. This class enhances many of the skills developed in the lower levels but also aims to encourage dance dynamics and incredible energy through body movement as well as performance presentation, style and poise. This class will help keep the dance student physically fit and eager for more creative movement. The students will be challenged towards greater heights as they attack this positive, fun and energetic Jazz dance class!

Jazz levels 7-10 are full of energy and excitement and some new and funky dance moves. These levels encourage students to keep up their basic technique and limber to help maintain strength and dynamics, while exploring and refining new jazz moves, such as pirouettes , intricate footwork, travelling combinations, and grand allegro. These levels also introduce new jazz styles such as funk, lyrical, Broadway, Latin and commercial, helping the students to develop a broader understanding of movement and knowledge of jazz.
