Other Requirements
Dance Underwear/Body Stockings (opt) – These items are designed to fit discretely under the student’s uniform and costumes to provide comfort, support and modesty. No normal underwear will be permitted under leotards at such events as the concert and exams.
Ballet Tights – colour is Salmon
Jazz/Tap Tights – colour is Tan Matt
Skirts – at all levels are optional however they must be in the matching colour

Dance Desires Hoodies are available for purchase through Dance Desires. The very warm, full zip hoodies with embroidered Dance Desires logo are designed to be worn to and from class, competitions, exams, theatre rehearsal and concerts. Please download an order form from the Newsletters, Forms and Handbook section of our website. The Hoodies come in a wide range of sizes from a child’s size four to an adult large. Sample sizes are available in the Dace Desires Foyer for you to try on. Students who are part of our Performance Group class and regularly represent our school off campus are strongly encouraged to have one.

All dance shoes must be fitted correctly. Ballet and Jazz shoes should fit quite firmly with no more then a thumb space of growing room at the front of the shoes. Tap shoes however may be purchased a size too big and be fitted with an inner sole until the students grow into them.

Naming Property
It is extremely important that all articles of dancewear and shoes are correctly labelled. Dance shoes are to be labelled on the inside of the shoes and clothing is best labelled with iron-on or sew-in name tags as the normal tags often get ripped off with wear and tear. Dance Desires takes no responsibility for any lost property or articles of clothing.

Students and parents may locate any lost article of dancewear in the lost property basket situated in the foyer of the Dance Desires studio. All lost property left in the lost property basket at the end of the year will be donated to charity or thrown away.
