Dance Desires Logo Branded Uniform

Dance Desires has a vibrant branded uniform that may be worn as an alternative to their class leotard and is also the set requirement for acrobatics. The Logo branded uniform is made from a high quality Lycra and is available in Full length leggings, Singlet, Crop Top, Jazz Short and Jacket.

It is a requirement of any student who is part of our company or performance group team to have the jacket for when we are competing off campus. The branded uniform can only be purchased through Dance Desires, please print and fill out the form and hand it to your teacher.

Extra Requirements

During examination and concert time, Kinder Dance 2 Students and students who participate in Jazz and/or Tap will require Tan Matt tights in addition to their regular pink tights and Dance Underwear.

Dance Underwear/body stockings are optional, however, if you wish for your child to wear underwear under their tights, this will be the only underwear permitted for concerts and exams.

Dance Underwear/body stockings are specially designed to be discrete and fit under all styles of leotards and costumes.

Second Hand Uniforms

Second hand uniforms and shoes are also available through the school. These items are usually in excellent condition and are a great deal cheaper than new.

Selling Second Hand Items

If you wish to sell second hand shoes or uniform you need to place each item in a separate bag (preferably a large snap lock bag), with the family name and asking price clearly displayed. Once an article is sold the money goes directly to the parent. All uniform money received will be credited to the appropriate families account. Please note that this service is only offered to parents who have children currently enrolled in the school.

Buying Second Hand Items

All second hand items that are currently available can be located in the Dance Desires foyer. Once you have selected your item/s please place the money in the white communications box which is located on the brick wall directly outside of Studio 2. Please ensure that the envelope has the family name on it.

Please note: No second hand articles will be fitted by any staff member; it is completely up to the parents to choose the appropriate size for their child. For assistance in fitting please refer to the shoe fitting advice above. Teachers will also not be able to take requests for sizes or put shoes aside.

General Information/Stockists

Dance Shoe Fitting

All dance shoes must be fitted correctly. Ballet and Jazz shoes should fit quite firmly with no more then a thumb space of growing room at the front of the shoes. Tap shoes however may be purchased a size too big and be fitted with an inner sole until the students grow into them.

Naming Property

It is extremely important that all articles of dancewear and shoes are correctly labelled. Dance shoes are to be labelled on the inside of the shoes and clothing is best labelled with iron-on or sew-in name tags as the normal tags often get ripped off with wear and tear. Dance Desires takes no responsibility for any lost property or articles of clothing.

Lost Property

Students and parents may locate any lost article of dancewear in the lost property basket situated in the foyer of the Dance Desires studio. All lost property left in the lost property basket at the end of the year will be donated to charity or thrown away.
